
- Tire pressure needs to be checked periodically for better tire wear and fuel mileage.
- Never ignore the "Check Engine Light". Sometimes the light could be for something as small as a gas cap not being put back on correctly. Other times it could be more serious, so please come into the shop and get a computer analysis of your vehicle.
- Every month you should walk around your vehicle with all the lights on to check them. No one wants to get a ticket for a light bulb being burnt-out.
- Your car may have a cabin air filter. Cabin air filters are responsible for filtering out the dirt inside of your vehicle. The cabin air filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles.
- You never want to run low on brake, engine, transmission fluid or coolant. These are all fluids that keep your vehicle running safely and smoothly.
- Never run your car on less than 1/4 of a tank of gas. Most vehicles have a fuel pump that is now located inside of the gas tank. The pump needs to stay cool at all times. That is just one reason why keeping your gas tank filled above 1/4 is so important. Otherwise you will have to replace the pump more often.
- Always get a purchase check before buying a vehicle! You never know what your mechanic could find. When buying a vehicle you want to make sure that everything is working properly. So get a purchase check before you buy!
- Are your brakes making noise? It could be worn out brake shoes or pads or dirt and debris trapped between the pad and rotor. Brakes are an extremely important part of driving safety. Always get your brakes checked out if you hear any noises.
