I was born and raised in Gainesville. I was brought up in the automotive repair business and have loved watching the industry change. I look forward to taking over City Auto Repair and keeping my father’s aspirations for this business alive. What is special to me is seeing that our customers are satisfied and having them feel like they are part of our family. I am the mother of an amazing little man, who has made me the person I am today. Along with spending my free time with my family, I enjoy canoeing, playing softball and traveling.

I was born in Ohio, but a year later moved to Gainesville, which is where I call home. I am an alumnus of PK Yonge, where I was strongly into sports. I started working in the automotive industry in 1971, and in 1981, I took over Jerry Bush Auto Repair, located off NW 5th Avenue. City Transmission and Auto Repair, Inc. opened in 1985. At that time, I was running three auto repair facilities. In 1987, I split with my partner and decided to be the sole owner of City Transmission and Auto Repair. My wife and I have loved raising our family in Gainesville. We have twin boys, two daughters, a grandson and a granddaughter on the way. My goal is to retire with my daughter taking over my business.

I was born in Tampa, Florida, came to Gainesville in 1988 and have loved it ever since. I closed my auto repair shop in Tampa and moved my family here. I worked in Alachua for a few years and then went to work for City Auto Repair in 1991 as a master technician. This shop is like family to me, and I have always been impressed because we treat our customers the same. I have been a technician in this industry for over 38 years. I have a son, Dylan, who is a freshman at GHS in all honor classes and who plays on the football team. Gainesville is such a great place to raise a family.
